RETTS Obstetrics

Secure Medical Decisions for Obstetrics

Designed with the changing physiology of the pregnant mother and the newly born mother in mind. Created to help healthcare professionals prioritize patients on their medical needs – not their arrival time.

A Unique solution to obstetric triage that…

Secures reliable and unified assessments
Make assessments uniform and enable a unified level of care irrespective of individual experience. Studies show excellent inter-rater reliability 1 between different staff.
Provides structure to improve efficiency
Triage provides structure and control through a clear and quick overview of childbearing women seeking emergency care and enhances teamwork by improving communication 3.
Increases patient and staff satisfaction
With implementation of obstetric triage into routine, improved clinical overview and patient flow has provided improved satisfaction 2 , 3.

Why RETTS for obstetrics was created

A solution to support the pregnant mother and newborn child

Most clinics mix acute and subacute obstetric patients – leading to inefficient flows and an insecurity on how to manage these patient groups.

RETTS Obstetrics was created to solve this problem.

Based on research 2, Dr. Linnéa Lindroos identified two things for improving care for pregnant women – the separation of acute patients and a triage system based on the specific physiology of the pregnant body.
